Agreed dude! Rays are so much baller than Cambodian tire brand.

I've ask around from some people, the color seem to make it more expensive.

        bronze 27mm 113 USD
        Black, blue, red 35mm 149USD
        Gunmetal 35mm 165 USD

Sorry, I meant to say in my previous post Titanium lugs from D1 Spec Motorsport could be bought for around the same price (albeit they only come in chrome, red or black colors). Alot more durability at mere grams weight increase.

Honestly, you are paying for the name (not that anyone can actually read it unless they get down and eyeball it), if thats why you are buying. Regardless, its personal preference. My opinion is "Titanium, yo!" is more noteworthy than a generic lug nuts with a Laser etching of RAYS brand name on it, which I admit I believe is a knock off.

Sorry are you saying Rays is a knockoff? or the guy selling the item?

I asked the guy and it is genuine piece from Japan. It is only cheap because they no longer carry them, hence the sale.

I have a set of the black rays ones. I would buy them again if it were for a good set of wheels. They feel well made, mostly for baller appeal though.

lol, the seller, not the brand. I hadn't noticed it was a fair sized company but I've read a few articles and was suprised at how many fakes of these are on ebay. I also find it questionable when they post the original sites picture of the package with their logo photoshopped into it but again you can look up on google to see the original vs knock off package differences and the bottom line is its your money not mine. So goodluck with purchase and hope you have no regrets.

                  Interesting read: http://www.upgrademotoring.com/wheel...uraluminum.htm

Guess we'll find out if the guy is legit! I'll get it hopefully this weekend.

Package doesnt seem the same in the ad albeit in 2 years they probably went through package updates to combat the counterfits. I doubt you'll be able to tell if its knock off just by looking for color mismatch on the inside because the ebay listed ones would've been fully submerged in chromium as opposed to those blue knock offs which were likely rattle canned.

No worries, we've all been there. They could be fake, though I talked with the guy about CF wrap and he seems legit. Small op with no overhead so his prices are cheap. He's done some nice work with CF wrapping in Ottawa.
