i was also told i could just pick up 2 12 inch electric fans to replace it. Does anyone know how i would go about mounting them or if there is a right up anywere on how to do it?
thank you

I put on a 16" flex-a-lite fan on my rad...but I don't know if they fit on a stock rad. Install is quite easy - drain coolant from rad, remove rad, install fan, replace rad. You have to make sure you'll clear all the belts. My fan is on the driverside edge of the rad and fits perfectly. This is also the best way to go if you have an intercooler on an RB20 that comes over across the rad. A lot of piping hits the stock fan, but with the electric, you have a lot more space. I would also measure it out, and get just 1 fan. The 16" moves 2,500 CFM which is a whole lot more than the the 14" which is around 1500. A friend has a 14" and it does a very adequate job of cooling, but I could fit the 16 on, and it was around 80-90 bux from MOPEC. The fan controller was another 40-50.
