Looking to buy/borrow/rent a ring gear stopper that takes the place of the starter drive. Crankshaft pulley bolt REFUSES to come out. Need to lock the flywheel out to get it off. Will return tool, will pay for overnight shipping.

i made my own... looks kinda crappy but it worked for me. maybe u could do the same ... i just used some scrap aluminum and my dremel.1970 Ford Mustang Fastback -> Fully Restored with Built 351W Motor

I'm thinking of trying the same out of an old starter drive, though the motor is in the car so it might be tricky to get it right. Might try and make a piston stop instead.Comment
