that subaru sound cost me a rebuild.. If you havnt done it already I would do a comp test. If it passes that then move onto a pressure testof your charge system, I recently had a intercooler hose slip off and it sounded like a wrx."LAG is the time the guy beside you thought he won"Comment

^ Don't scare me man, I just rebuilt my motor not even 6000k's ago...lol
I've had the intercooler hose come off multiple times but its more of a high pitch hissing sound. This one is fine during idle, maybe a little off beat but you don't notice it till you put it on load.
