I will be for sure, but I have a 1991 GTR, I already know I have the bad crank shaft with little contact area on the pump which is why I was wanting to tear down the bottom end this winter and switch out the crank shaft with one made after the year when they made that pump drive revision.

Yes but the revision was not enough. Do what you feel is best but in my opinion just use your r32 crank and take it to a local machine shop and ask them to make you a collar with .01 clearance on each side for total .02 overall. Also dont want to bring this up again but while your at it dont you think it would be worth it for atleast a n1 pump vs the oem?

N1 Pumps are grenades. I was told constatly by many shops and countless people to avoid N1 at all costs. The gears are greater but are extremely weak. My buddy bought an N1 pump 3 months ago and it failed on the engine he just built

well there are lots of knock off n1 pumps however i would never have a problem running a n1 pump as long as it was bought from a genuine nissan dealer. in fact i was thinking about running one but decided to go broke with tomei instead. anyway that is for another thread i hope some of my info helped or atleast made you look into it a bit more
