As title states, looking to buy GTS-4 front and rear diffs. I don't need the LSD and would be willing to take just the gears, but will take whole diff and oil pan if necessary. I want to put the 4.375 gears into my GTR diffs.

Good luck, I've been on the lookout for over 2 years. IIRC the GTS-T rear diff is the same ratio. Then all you need is the front one. I've come close a couple of times but no luck so far. I'm going in a different direction now.
Jon.Why don't you come over to MySpace and Twitter my Yahoo untill I Google all over your Facebook.

GTS rear diff is not the same as the GTR from what I remember. I also wanted to do the same, but I was trying to put GTR diffs in a gts4.
The gts4 diffs are an upgrade for the GTR if I remember correctly, but you need to change both front and rear diffs.

Thanks Dragon Humper for the tip on the GTS gears. I think S13 may also come with 4.375. Finding a front diff is indeed the hard part. If I come across any I'll let you know.
Voodoo_ChildR32, I am aware that I will need to change both front and rear gearsets, I am not looking to destroy my transfer case, lol.Better to be scared to death than bored to death

lol i think you missed the point of his post and this thread. they both have gtrs and are looking to upgrade to the gts-4 diffs. Jon was saying the gtst diff=gts4 as far as the ratio is concerned.1991 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R: 710whp 521 ft/lbs 27.5psi 11.8 @126mph low boost

I was just doing a bit of reading and apparently though the GTS and GTS-4 are both 4.3 ratios, the GTS ratio is 4.363 and the GTS-4 is 4.375 so they are NOT the same. I was also incorrect about S13 as they are 4.363 for the CA18 cars.
So to recap,
R32 GTR = 4.11
R32 GTS = 4.363
R32 GTS4 = 4.375 ***THIS is the one that Jon and I are after***
PS. gtrjon, you are spot on, lol.Last edited by Glitch; 11-29-2012, 01:42 AM.Better to be scared to death than bored to death

Talk to rips, think he has a set going for $900 shipped (around the going price). Yes they're overpriced but it's an upgrade. It's not a drastic gain at all. You're better off getting an r34 gearbox and using r32 gtr ratios.
You'll have to pull the engine or oil pan at the least to change the final drive up front. They money and time can be spent elsewhere for similar results. You won't lose the 300kph top speed (down to what, 270kph?)
When I was looking to do this, I remember reading often that you'd also wind up in 5th by the end of the strip instead of 4th (1 more gearshift/delay). Availability and cost turned me away. I think I did adjustable cam gears for a fraction of the price and gained power/response that way hahaLast edited by NismoS-tune; 11-29-2012, 02:53 PM.Black 1991 GTR. I have the engine out right now anyway so I'm not worried about that part. R34 trans would be cool but way more expensive than diffs, no? I'm also not concerned about an extra shift on the strip as I don't plan to do much drag racing; I am more of an auto-x and track day kind of driver.
I was just talking to RIPS the other day but didn't ask specifically about diffs. Thanks for the tip!
As for cam gears, that was already in the works and possibly modifying for NVCS as well, though Robbie told me to just build an RB30 and be done with it, lol. Can't say I didn't see that one coming. If I had cubic dollars available I probably would.Last edited by Glitch; 11-29-2012, 11:29 PM.Better to be scared to death than bored to death
