  • WTB. Skyline Sedan

Looking for an r32 skyline sedan. Must be Awd/4wd. Transmission and engine doesn't matter but I would prefer manual and turbo. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something to rip around in during the winter.

Let me know what you've got.

    text or pm
    204 955 5029

Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba but I will pick up pretty much anywhere in Canada if the car and price is right.

There are some AWD gtst's named GTS-4s. A surprising number of sedans are AWD.

The RWD turbo sedans are great in the winter, all you need is a full tank of gas and good winter tires.

During our last major snow dumping in Ontario i went into some unplowed lots with 8" of snow... Even when the snow is past the floorboards, car couldn't get stuck.

Here was the car after being parked all day... No need to shovel. Car bulled out like snow wasn't even there.

Yeah but last time I checked the ad (few weeks ago) said gtst type m somewhere

And that's awesome about the rwd and sounds a lot better in the snow then I thought it would do. But I want to get the awd so I will have guaranteed no problems getting stuck. I would get a gc8 but they are much too common.

An ad for a car you were looking at? And yes a GTST type M would in fact be RWD. I used to have a gtst type m sedan when I was younger, turbo 5 speed (pretty sure all type M's are turbo 5spd). I wish I kept it and fixed it up.

AWD is great if your lifestyle / budgets means you'll be running all seasons year round.

FWR/RWD with serious winter tires > AWD on all season tires, imo.

But then again I don't know where you live and what winter is like there. You may need AWD + winter tires.

The sedans are pretty rare... When I got mine it was the only one for sale in the country. There was a 33 in BC as well, but he didn't reply to e-mails.... You may have to be patient or consider importing one.

Oh I also read somewhere that all GTST sedans have the type-m trimmings, I haven't corroborated that from any other sources yet though.

Another nice thing about the skyline sedans, is they're less likely to have been thrashed and often remain un-modded.

There's also a r32 sedan for sale in Toronto, been posted for a while now.

                GL!

If you get one. I want pics posted!

the r32 gts4 is a 4wd gtst. all r32 gts4 are turbo, most are auto. a gtr (or manual gts4) manual gearbox bolts straight in, you don't need mod he x member or the driveshaft, unlike when you convert a gtst from auto to manual

the gts4 also shares parts with the gtr that the gtst doesn't get. off my head they are the driveshaft, large spline 6x1 rear axles, and alloy hub carriers.
