  • WTB: seat rails

As the title says I'm looking for some after market seat rails, the seat company that I bought the seats from don't make rails for skylines so I'm looking for something along the lines of Bride or Recaro.

I'm looking for a passenger side for my Recaros too. No luck so far.
I'm thinking I may go to that fabricator beside Halifax Autosport and see if they can fab something for me.

I have a set of universal sliders for sale, came on a set if bride knockoffs, cheap... $75.+shipping, you would need little tabs welded to mount to the floor

Find a set of sliders from any old seat, they don't have to have any brackets on them. Grab 2 plates like seen above mount to the top portion of slider and mount it to your seat, then mount the rails however you please, and get 2 more plates to make the mounting points. I am going to be re fabricating mine sooner or later I'll try post up shots of my first attempt at it. Maybe this thread will give me motivation to pull the seat out.

Aha! this is what i'm building off of. They don't "just need little tabs" as they mount about 15.75" apart compared to the oem 16.5", and the GTR mounting points aren't level so if you just go with universal tabs or something along that line your seat will be crooked. You can get away with just making tabs however having a sheet running the length of the mounting holes(like seen on the bride/recaro setups) is much easier as you can mount your seat anywhere along it.

Ya, my bride rails were a different width also, I welded plates to the top to make them wider, also had to drill new holes in the top of the rail to fit the seat, they are knockoff bride cugas, prob mount different than real bride seats
