dont know if this is old info or not
but...
according to the latest issue of scc, the jdm spec gtr lifts the factory speed limiter when the gps has detected that the car is at a nissan apporved racretrack. old news i know. what i just foudn out was that after the track session is over, the owner must head to a nissan high performance shop for a saftey check to the tune of $1000, or your warranty is void
also, upgrading wheels isnt possibl yet
the factory wheels are fitted with speed and tire pressure sensors in the valve stems and when the wheels are removed and error code is thrown.
so until someone can figure out how to adapt the valve stem sensors to aftermarket wheels, 'godzilla will be angry"
