  • GTR Black Edition, and the 2011 Car Show....

So tonight I went to the Montreal 2011 Car show, I did a write up about it as usual with lots of nice pics and stories for anyone who's interested: http://skyline-life.blogspot.com/201...auto-show.html

but my question is now... WTF NISSAN!?... the "Black Edition" doesn't seem that nice to me, I didn't like the wheels, I didn't understand why it was BLUE and not BLACK?

the car is pretty nice, I know i'm nit-picking here, but honestly, isn't it supposed to be black? and have the same rims by Rays as the usual GTR does?.. i really like those rims! these ones are filth....what's your guys thoughts?

wow i agree man that is hella disapointing. And the car show not letting you get inside the car is crap. That is an epic fail for a "black edition" considering the only thing black on the car is the interior..... nissan better fix their marketing...

Umm....very few of the Mercedes Black Series cars, which seem to have started this whole trend, are actually black.

The black edition just has a different interior and different wheels. It has the SpecV wheels. Personally I love the wheels. This isn't the early days of Henry Ford. "You can have any color you want... as long as it's black."

lol, i was talking to the rep that was at the gtr, i dont know if he works for nissan or not, but he told me the specV is rwd.......... i laughed at him. but i agree with the black edition not being very nice, it shouldnt be blue, but if there gonna make it blue, why not bayside blue? just my opinion

Thumbs down on the Spec V rims. I like the ones on the regular model way better.

I hate the stock R35 GTR rims. They were nice when they first came out, but now people just leave them stock. You would think the rims would be on the "GTFO" list. I dont see why hardly anyone switches the rims. Also having a nice paint job done then leaving the huge calipers orange is a turn off to me lol...Oh well
