      LOL...

How are you trying to 'install' it ?

Upgrading Vista ? or what ?

Do a fresh install. It's BETA - deal with it as such. Don't expect it to be a smooth upgrade on an existing Vista install/platform, or anything for that matter.

            1. Reboot the computer with the disk in ensuring your boot order has the DVD as #1. Make sure you can boot off it and the installer starts up.
            2. Make sure you have a 100% verified copy of Vista (or whatever) incase everything goes to sh!t
            3. Format drive. (Keep all the stuff you want to keep on a disk, extra drive, removable drive etc...)
            4. Install new OS (gennerally you can format while installing any new OS.

PS if you were really trying to download software while installing a new OS do not attempt the above lol

                or

Use a second computer and install to that..

or if you dont care Boot off the Disc as (Joker) said and format for the fresh install

                if you arent computer savvy..

BTW this is a Pre-release, it has to upgrade options.

Im running it now, nothing new or special. Few minor tweaks, better support and reliability

Id you don't have any problems with your current build, don't update until something worth while is added.
