jebus chroost...canadianjoker... the sniper guy..what kind of range can that gun get?????? im an enthusiast to anything guns involving distance...

uhh knowing damage that gun is sitting at 550-600fps with .2g bb's.. with the right ammo oh.. idk 300 feet? some one help me out here.

I have a UV and a polarizing filter, but even those can be a little pricey to be used as a shield. I can cut a chunk of Lexan and tape it on, but the picture quality is going to be sacrificed...

You've got some great shots in those albums, BTW...

i just use a uv filter on my lens, ive had a few bounce off the body but nothing has hit the lens yet. plus by the time it gets to you, its slowed down quite a bit in those woods. cqc i would be scared to bring my camera in.

upon reading the word "airgun" I was kinda upset because it reminded me of the time I purchased an air rifle pack for my friend for ~100 and I assumed he'd give me money on the spot when I got home after work with it. Nope. That was more than a year ago and he still owes me my money.

can anyone see what I'm getting at here? no offence, but I see this thread as EXACTLY what the entire off-topic forum is for, MINUS organization (individual threads). I see no reason why we can't make quick question (what should I name my car?) or long discussion (see above) threads...

personally, I see this as SO unorganized and quick-filling that there is NO way it can be followed whatsoever.

i just had the intention of making a thread that you could say whatever you were thinking or if you wanted an answer or opinion on something you could come here. It would just save from all the useless threads (ex. Mine, "did i break my amp") I would have asked such a small thing on here and then it would have gotten into a small discussion and then something else would come up.

Sometimes you just want to talk without actually making a whole new thread. I think this should be stickied again and it should be called the Off Topic Thread.

Cause now i want to talk about something small but i have nowhere to bring it up.

I've got:

• Sig Pro SP2022 (9x19mm Para, factory tritum night sights)
• Springfield XD45 (.45 ACP, Hogue Grips, Tritum night sights)
• Remington 700 (8mm Winchester Magnum, Bausch-Lomb Elite 4000 1-6x36 Scope)
• Remington 870 (12 gauge, ATI folding stock, Custom made sling)

When I'm out on our farm I keep the shotgun with me. I had a close encounter with a pissed off elk last year and was only able to escape because I was about 20 feet away from our truck. If I was on a quad it probably would have gored me to death. I load it with #1, 2 slugs, then the rest #1. My thinking is if I run into another elk I can cycle through the first round of buckshot and I have 2 slugs to shoot it with and if I miss with both or it doesn't die after both I'm ******. If it's some wolves or coyotes I run into I can just rack through the slugs and use the buckshot, or just hope I hit it/them with the slugs.

They aren't afraid to make incredibly, retardedly "pointless" threads, which makes it very fun. Given, though, they have exponentially more members spanning the globe, so it's more of an anonymous thing like..
