It seems like on these other forums you just get a bunch of kids that spent a couple grand on a rusty POS. They think they have themselves a race car that can outrun the Koenigsegg CCXR and if you tell them different then it ends up being an argument about who has less rust and how short they chopped their springs.

I think the reason that GTRC has done so well is that there are very mature members that have respect for the entire motoring world, members with a vast knowledge base (not only on RB engines but for many others as well), excellent sponsors and of course The Iron Fist. That's my piece.

comparing beyond to GTRC is like comparing new york to abbostford...

here we all know each other....on beyond...its a free for all...

were like a small town....we all like each other for the most part...and nobody usually goes around to pick fights or kill one another...

its simple and it works...and a big part of the is JZ....hes moderated quite well...

this is the only forum i post in currently...

you want an interesting forum to post in...try the Xbox Live forums...its like troll central....jesus...used to post there when i first got my 360....was frightening

The only other car forum i've been active in was TTORA, (toyota tacoma) and it's all the same **** as beyond and others. You get 90% useless posts and maybe 1 good one. It's a waste of time.

Only forums i freqent is this one, and gtr.co.uk

I don't frequent any other car forums for this exact reason...

          They all suck.

I used to post on RX7club before as well. Then I moved out of the RX7 scene because they seemed overpriced for my broke-ass student financials. I actually wasn't looking for anything until I fell in love with Skylines. Even then I creeped GTRC for months before I even signed up for an account, and even then I never posted cause I had no idea how long I wanted to stick around.

I paid close attention to all the posts and decided that everyone here were pretty cool guys/gals so I decided to become more active.

I used to be on MX6.com. Pretty good site for those guys. And I've now deemed RevScene absolutely useless (hardly used it before) other than for cheap laughs. Look at Deviants sig... that pretty much sums up how I feel about RS.
DISCLAIMER: If any of the above comments in this post hurt your feelings you are likely taking me too seriously; I'm probably just busting your balls. If you're unsure, feel free to PM me and we can discuss the matter privately, as to not pull the thread OT.

I think GTRcanada rules in comparison to other site for main reason that in order to own and maintian a GTR you need to have
              1. patience
              2. money
              3. brains

So that rules out about 99% of the fucktards on other car sites , GTRcanada is the anti ,troll ,flamers forum !
I think even if one day I stop messing with skylines I'll be sticking around here anyway.

I wanted to post a thread about this a while ago, i think gtrc is so well run, good fair mods that will shut down a thread as soon as it turns to ****. The mods on beyond don't do anything, they'll let the worst threads go on forever. For example, the thread about the guy that died from my school, mckay. 50 pages of such disrespectful comments about the situation and his personal friends were begging the mods to shut it down but they wouldn't, like they were enjoying it or something. I've never seen a worse forum than beyond, abtegs was pretty good cause it was so small time.

                I love gtrc.

But yeah back on topic GTRC gained its reputation by slapping down the mouthy newbs quickly. Sure everyone is entitled to an opinion but be adult about it. Present your case, use proper spelling and grammar, cite references. Flaming and character attacks won't fly here - the aggressor will be the one who looks bad.

Many of the mods (including myself) have been in the car game for a long time now. We've seen it all and I believe everyone can go from a newb to earning respect but you have to listen and learn, then talk LOL.
