So its not for me... its for one of my best friends...

he needs a vehicle capable of pulling a trailer... on the trailer is going to be a pig roaster / smoker...

i had a 97 mazda b2300 lined up for him for a mere $2500 but it got given to someone else...

he has limited funds... upto $5000, and even then i think that might be a lil out of his price range...

the vehicle needs to be in good working order, BC registered and compliant.... import or domestic doesnt matter... RHD/LHD makes no difference either...

hes currently got an olds ceira with 180k kms that hes tryin to flog online...

hes lookin for this to happen as soon as he can afford it, which could be this month, or towards the end of may...

please if you hear anything for a smokin hot deal for a good reliable vehicle that can pull a portable pig roaster/ smoker and is all BC ready let me know...

I was hoping for $5500ish. I was offering a finders fee, but I was gonna give the finder anything over $5500. (So if I sold it for $5700 finder would keep $200 etc). However I will consider 5g's if I keep the ladder racks... I should be able to recoup that on my own.

Great shape, just buffed her up. It's imported from the states, fully registered and all that, but has rebuilt status. It was rebuilt at 9,000 miles and has been driving perfectly ever since. I have the VIN Report as well...

EDIT: Timing could be mutually beneficial because if he wants to wait until May I could hold off to scrounge up some funds for the Skyline... let me know

Sounds good. Keep me posted. Email/phone/PM all works for me. I live up at SFU during the week and generally at home in Surrey on the weekends/whenever I visit the rents so I can meet where ever if he wants to take a look.

I may be heading to Osoyoos this weekend... but I was planning on taking the Acura. If he's got cash in hand and wants me to bring it up to meet there I could do that too. We're leaving tomorrow night though so I'd have to know pretty quick... Again there is no rush for time, and I do head up to Osoyoos regularly.

so he heard back from the bank...

my friends dad is comin down to vancouver in a couple weeks and when he does he would like to meet up with you or see the truck... if his dad likes what he sees(and im sure he will) then he will get the go ahead to get the truck...the bank said to him he could get up to a 4000g loan without a co-signer, and more with one... his dad said he will co-sign after he looks at the truck "

his dad is one of those " the answer is yes but i have to look first " kind of guys...

I can vouch for that truck, that thing is MINT! Chris really takes care of it, and it's a reliable work horse/daily.

                      Thanks Mike!

I am available over the next couple weeks so I can show the truck whenever, just try and give me a days heads up so that I can wash it up and get any salt off it (if I decide to head up to Whistler one day next week).
