  • Another "r34 thread"

hey i am gonna apologize right now for making another r34 thread cuz i realize it tends to cause trouble, but i have a question about them and search didnt help much. i have looked through http://www.japanautodirect.com/stock.cfm?Make=4 and it is really the only auction site i know of that lists prices... so my question is how much do you think they will go roughly go for in 2015 (and i mean clean w/ minor mods like intake/exhaust) i was thinking maybe around $20,000 landed? do you guys think they will be more/less? my reason for asking is if they are expected to be alot more/less will be the deciding factor in whether or not i build my current gts. Also if any1 knows of some good auction sites that i can just look through and see what they are runnin for now i would appreciate it.
    any help is appreciated.
and sorry again if this blows up into another "r34 thread"

first off, you realize that you cant drive an r34 on the street in canada right?
so unless its for show or track puposes only, you are wasting your time.

Obviously, he means he wants to consider getting one, when they are available in 2015.

January 2014 is when we can start importing the first batch.

I'd say 20-25K for a clean R34 would be a good guess. Maybe as high as 30, if we can even import them by then. Remember they made much, much less R34 GTR's than they ever did R32's, so they will be harder to come by.

He is very close to the auction prices for these..

I have seen 2000 models with very low mileage that was up to 4Million yen.. So it really depends on the trim model, VSPECII or non VSpec will have significant difference in price..

Even Paul Walker on Fast and Furious 4 used a GTT not GTR.. lol

If you really want that car, why wonder how much it'll cost in 5 years? Just save and save until it comes out, then choose the car you want rather than be stuck with the only one you can afford. No one knows the price they'll be and there is a possibilty they won't be legal with all the government crap going on. You're not the only one looking but I suggest having more money ready to buy one that you think they're worth. Many people are going to want an R34 but if they're legal, only some of us will have them if they're over $35k.

don't forget your importer standard r34 markup fee over the price of the car, shipping, customs, duties, his fee, etc.,

ya i am aware of all the expenses and everything involved in getting them to my door. And i am after a ball park cuz i don't wanna spend $8,000 on my gts and not have money for one in 2015 (i wanna wait a year after they are legal so i have a bit more of a selection and some time to look through various cars) i dream everyday about owning an r34 gtr someday and would be upset with myself if i built my current car and then couldnt afford one of these. (and i am a student so i don't really have "spare" money to through around) but thanks for the info every1.
mods u can lock this up if u like or let it run up to you, more info is always nice .

You should be pretty much free and clear of being a student in 2015, unless you're going into arts and plan on working at a coffee shop for $9/hr with your degree.

just get in a trade where's it's normal to make $38-50/hr. Then you can drive a GTR i'm kidding, GTR's aren't only for wealthy people, they're for anyone with pockets.
