No offence but you're out to lunch if you think a GT40 is a "pointless" car. How many Lemans did nissan win? Those things in stock form outgun anything streetlegal/production car nissan made (including the old thing you posted) until the new GTR came out. I'm no ford man but that thing is more badass than a new GTR. The GT isn't the prettiest but then again, they're nicer in person, sitting in and hearing it go through gears. Torque and exhaust note is something a nissan can't beat out of most huge V8, IMO.
