If I were given the choice between ferrari and a skyline it would have to be an r34 z-tune, or a mint kpgc10 gtr with an rb26dett swap. Even then there is still a handfull of ferraris I'd rather have.

Ur dads ferraris is pretty sick i hope its nothign like lambos r when it comes to maintenace(have to remove engine to install a stock $10,000 clutch(18hr job at a lambo dealership=very pricey) I forget exactly how u get to the battery but it is sum ****** up procedure.

and apparently with this engine its pretty easy to drop out so i dunno, it will be a learning process for us.


and to be honest, i would choose that r34 GTR that mines tuned over a ferrari.

Ever since i was young i was always a fan of making things better rather then having them the best they could be already.

I like my cars the same way. I would rather tune it and modify it to the way i like it, and make it better than to buy something that is fast already.

But that is not to say that i wouldn't turn down a new ferrari. i would just never go out and buy one


And yes, my dad is pretty freaking awesome, not just because of this, but because he is going to pay for half of my skyline. And because he is pretty much my role model and my idol

Dad "maybe ill trade the ferrari for a skyline"

Me "so what, your going to get the skyline that i want, and then what?"

Dad: You can slowly pay me back, so then you don't have to pay interest to the bank if you get a loan"



now i can't tell if he was been serious or not lol, my guess is "no", but he has talked about doing that before, so i don't know what to think

No, you don't know him lol, for obvious reasons lol. But my dad has a big business mindset. Now he wouldn't trade it in, but he is already talking about selling it


He wants to get everything that is wrong with the car fixed, and touch up the interior and stuff and then sell it. If he could get around 50,000 for it that would be a amazing

I cross path with 348's every now and then. A couple of friends own them, and we track them together a few times year. Your dad being a mechanic will help A LOT. All F-cars are beautiful in their own way. I love the exhaust note on the 348 and the exterior. Interior..not as much. Clutch, shift gate and driving position...meh. One thing I have to say about these cars, knowing them through the experience of owners...they are temperamental, and they are pretty weak performers. You always wish they have a bit more push but you don't want to risk anything. Cruising around town is fun, but don't for a second think you're going to win any races
