  • post up your winter beaters!

the time is coming near lol.
just wondering who is planning on parking their car and driving their beater?

mine is a 1989 ford probe turbo at 15psi, chipped, big fart cannon dont have, and maybe have a t4/t3 hybrid turbo end of summer any pictures but will snap some tonight. (ohyeah, should i mention i will never lock myselkf out since any key will unlock my doors and start it lol?)

i would drive my GTS again but the heater works like **** lol, i had to wear touque gloves and a blanket driving my car around at -20.

don't talk about winter yet please

1996 nissan maxima, it was my dd before I got my GTR, has some rust, short ram intake, and a magnaflow muffler... it's a really comfy car to drive compared to the Skyline lol

Mine is a Hyundai elantra pretty comfy i guess and i have never gotten it stuck even when big huge 4x4's are stuck, tires a spinning that little thing gets out of anything.

It's not even august, Canada's hottest month.

And throw a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator that covers 3/4 of it. Works well.

I am looking into a Mitsubishi Delica from Right Drive. If I can come up with the cash that is. If not, whatever is the cheapest thing I can find.

The car will be in heated storage but I'm on the fence of whether or not I'll get one. I might just steal the gf's 1.7el as we live together anyways, and I'll be in school full time.

I do go to school at sfu though, and the snow can be a bitch. I guess it depends on how much I'm working, and if I need a car or I can use transit (right now using transit, saving SO MUCH gas/maintenance. Car is weekend car and it rocks).

                            If I do get a winter beater, it's going to be a "winter-beater." I.e. some lifted S10/Ranger/B2200/Tacoma or a Blazer/Explorer/Grand Cherokee/4Runner.

Then I can put permits on it when I wanna go camping or 4x4'n in the summer months.

okay well here is my probe, im changing the rims, the stock ones looked gay, wont tell the rims i put on it though. and a little welding on the stabilizer bar mounts (drifting in winter is bad for your car)

and my old ghetto pop off valve i had lying around
