Was a crazy day with not enough time to check everything out. Much of my fun came from the boys from NASCC. Some true grass roots racers in that club! They were definitely the most entertaining to watch. Cars ranging from 120hp-600+ A
375hp FD ended up pulling out the win over a 355 hp Monte Carlo, but it was a battle with passing back and forth between them. Checking out the pits was cool but its pretty limited.. It was really only worth it for checking out Danica
There was some strong Nissan/Datsun support out there with the NASCC guys. A couple nice Z32 and a bunch of Datsun 240 and 280z. I fell for the 510 though, purely for the pimp factor :P

Danica is a small, but very sexy figure in one or 2 of the pics.. she was super hard to snap a photo of. Her pit was the ONLY one with anyone standing at it.. The pack of guys trying to get pictures of her was pretty dense. She did go by us on her scooter and i got a good look then

I was pretty put off by the hood scoop too but it was still a sexy car even beside the 300s and the bimmers. Just a classy looking car! Pretty quick considering only ~180hp he said...

Beer was 21.50 for 2 cans!!! I wasnt going to get into that kinda price that easily! the #30 FD with RP-F1 rims won overall. Was a fun race to watch, and he did a good donut after too

The 300s were nice cars, with sick widebody setups. Im not sure where they ended up in the standing overall though. I did read in the NASCC book that they were both running 2.8-2.9 L motors. They run on a weight/L formula so i assume thats where the advantage was there... Still learing though..

That guy with the FD that did donuts on Sat only won the qualifying race. Then he was disqualified for the rest of the weekend for driving in the wrong direction with other cars still on track. Maybe if I'm not lazy I'll throw some pictures up too.

Hmm thats conroy and also, beer was susposta be $7.50 for one, so some one ****** you on that one. still expensive, but yeah $10.75 is a good way to make a tip. I was in the ice truck supplying the beer to the vendors, i was at concession b behind the bud truck, haha easiest job and it was the last thing they had. also i was in a cooler at 0 degrees for 85% of the time, i got too cold i had to go outside hahahahha.

Next year i wont work it though. I wanna join the nascc, gotta get a gtr out there!
