That sucks man, I'm in the same predicament but I fought the ticket and its going to court. Now I have a road test in 30min to get my full license or else i'll have to start my N all over again when i lose it. THATS a FML, too much pressure!

Nah, it wasn't for speeding or anything it was actually for a pretty lame reason.

I had more people in my car then I was allowed (Had 3 people in my car) but that was because I was driving 2 of them home because they were smashed out of their minds. I'll probably bring the ticket to court and see if they will at least shorten it or something.

Yeah, when I get my N back I have to restart it too. Woo another 2 years with only being able to drive 1 person. at least by then the backseats of my GTS will be ripped out and replaced with speakers!

I got rid of my N asap for this reason.

I would take it to court and tell them they were smashed out of their minds, and wanted to drive. I dunno, maybe you can get one of them to come in and be like "Hey, my bad, I didn't trust myself and he stepped in."

I always figured if I was in the same predicament I would pull something like that to see what happened. But I never got a ticket until I was 21 so I never had the problem, and I started driving under age... I think that's pretty good.

As for the urban myth excuse:

"I had more people in my car because those people wanted to DUI, can I get a break?"

It works about as well as: "Well the car infront of me was speeding too, why am I getting a ticket? I was going with the flow of traffic"

The judge can easily throw that out with a smirk: "You have access to a phone? You could have called a cab for them."

Sorry, my buddy tried, he got pwned by the judge.

you're not allowed to have 3 people in your car? wtf kind of rule is that. thanks god i can just walk in to the DMV anywhere in the USA with a letter addressed to me, 15 bucks and come out with a full license, no restrictions 10 minutes later.

You don't loose your license for just driving more than one person. Ask DeviantRebel.. he got the same ticket and still has his license. You would have had to do something else as well.

Aside from that fact, if you were in fact driving people home because they were drunk and the cop still gave you a ticket, he is a dickbag. Fight it, chances are if that is the situation then you will win. It's happened before.
