102 doesn't look too intriguing, i'll just catch it on MMOTKO.
What?? I couldn't disagree with more.
The main event, while not having a real impact on the standings for belt contention (besides maybe Nog being a candidate to fight brock since no one else is ready yet), it's still makes for a good MMA match.
Ya ya, Carwin and Valesquez. I think both are little unpolished. if it was up to me, they should both spend another year developing.
Silva vs Jardine will be interesting as a test for Silva. Jardine is Jardine. Forever unpredictable, forever a measure stick. But Silva has some real potential. Besides his loss to Machida, the guys has a solid game. I think he needed that loss to collect himself.
Marquardt and Maia will make for a "who's better at their style" match since they're so friggin polar opposite. It will be good to see if which fighter is good enough at their own game to overcome fighting someone who's doesn't match up well.
The prelims are forgettable but it'll be good to see if Vera's last LHW match was an aberration or whether he adjusted to cutting weight permanently.
These are simply opinions. There are so many possibilities.
At least Diego Sanchez is getting his title shot at BJ Penn in the near future.
As for Silva, I think he's fighting Henderson next for title defence. His next fight in LHW could most likely be the winner of Evans Vs. Jackson before getting a title shot or simply going for the winner of Machida vs Shogun (not likely yet since Machida and he are good friends). The winner of Jardine vs Silva could be a good fight for him but who knows... I'm a fan on Thiago and was surprised to see the result of his fight against Machida back when.
Belfort is also a possible for Silva now that's he's heading for middle weight.

I respect your opinion, I just don't think it will be worth my money at the bar watching the next one, that's all
Silva will most likely defend against Hendo next. Which is another good card for popularity/interest for any MMA fans IMO. Their first fight had good potential, showed that the olympian had advantage on the ground against Silva, then followed by the destruction from Silva. (awesome finish)
I've given up on HW as Lesnar will be up there for a while.
Evans VS Jackson will be a good one, definately a career rebound match for sure.
Anyways, enough about other possibilities etc.
Back on topic, I don't think "Forest griffon" was "sucking" at all. Griffin just showcased what Silva can do to a former LH champ.
However this picture now has more than one meaning LOL.
