why would he abuse an NSX like that! looks like he ripped off the inner fender liner, and the doors are spurting water out of them. so sad.

This has been reposted on nsxprime like 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Owner was trying to avoid being trapped under rising floodwaters and did what he had to do. I'm amazed that thing managed to stay running despite being submerged like that...I wonder if the electronics held out afterwards. The battery was completely underwater. Luckily the intake sits pretty high in that car but the interior must have been toast.

all that just to get it into his garage safe and sound
hmm. i guess its worth it
              but yeah
electrics could have big problems and the interior is going to mildew and be messed
              crazy though

the interior is probably fine.. I doubt much water even got inside the car. IF it did it was either already in there when they started or the door seals on acuras are really shitty.

The water you can see coming out was probably trapped in the door itself.

The fender liners got trashed for sure - but that's better than a written off car!

I bet being mid engined, where the engine/air intake is probably had a much lower water level due to the wave being kicked up by the nose, which is how it stayed dry enough to get through that.

Good car for saving it's own ass. I think the driver probably did the right thing.

Makes me hate NSX's about 0.00001% less.
