skyline owners in vernon,bc?

i'm moving to vernon bc in december,from edmonton,just wondering if anybody from this site live there,and knows what the car scene is like?

when i was out there, there were a couple skylines crusin around, there is 1 guy in Armstrong aswell, Kelowna has a nice amount of cars and people aswell

also sept 13th i believe there is an autox at the multiplex where the vipers play, might meet some people there

i come to vernon from time to time but i dont live there... and soon i will be able to drive the GTR there so maybe we will have to set up some kind of kootenay/okanagan meet

I'd be down for an okangan skymeet cruise...

The car scene isn't really all that huge in vernon...I think the only thing we got going for us is the Auto cross, and the king of the hill races at the speedway.... I'm not sure how well you'll like it compared to edmonton...but I think its a pretty decent place to live.

well my girlfriend has a job at the hospital and i'm a mechanic,and will need to find a job.is there any performance shops around?
and edmonton is busy as hell,the road construction in none stop.i can't wait to get to a chilled out place.i'm from the east coast,so i'm use to the water,and the scenary.
the auto cross will be cool to try.
