I've mentioned this before, but three BMW 740iL Protection models were casualties of C4C..that damned gov't program..

Anyways, they're equipped with bullet resistant glass and body armouring from the factory. Hope the crusher has a fun time trying to take that down.

but this one was shipped out to ontario to have the work done,then shipped back
the car was confiscated and return to the company that leased it out, and were told by the CVSA or icbc or something that it was no longer road worthy and were forced to put it up for sale out of the country.

I can't stand the look of the 7 series, at least the S-class (competitor) looks half decent, and even "good" in a s65 series or Lorinser editions.

Either way, Canadian regulations are stupid. If someone wants to protect themselves, why not let them? The investigation into an attempted murder would cost much less than the average 2-4 million for an actual murder....given that someone would shoot/etc the car.

I'm gonna make a suit entirely of Dragon-Skin body armor and see how long it takes me to get arrested....then how long it takes me to get shot...then how long it takes me to give up from the bruising lol

The previous 7(E65/66) got a bad rap.

The 7 Protection models that were crushed were E38's, good cars.

As much as I hate to say it, the S-class looks pretty good..minus the RX-8-esque front fenders.

I actually like that generation of the 7 series, I think the current ones are ugly. They are trying too hard to be futuristic and such and lost their "class" in appearance. I dunno, just my opinion.

I don't need no robot BMW spy hunting me down with promises of the sweet taste of blood...

EDIT: I just looked at them again on the website... I guess they aren't that bad. I retract my previous statement. I just don't really like what they've done with the tail lights especially... The headlights are ok, but still not great in my books.
