  • The drive of shame...

took a drive to my girlfriend's parents' house tonight to go pick up some parts for my skyline. 100 feet after i got off the highway i hear a thud, and the loudest exhaust i've heard from a street car.
my exhaust pipe is obviously broken clean through somewhere near the front of the exhaust pipe. probably somewhere that cant be fixed with a simple flex pipe or straight pipe. probably something that requires me removing the exhaust manifold or something dumb like that. at least it's on my corolla.
i mustve gotten a million annoyed looks from drivers as i made the long drive home. i'm so embarrassed. crap.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

I've done that before in my Accord. I think it happens to everyone at some point.

i drove my RX7 around my neighbourhood at 2am running out of the downpipe... woke a few poeple up for sure.

I also DD'd my Skyline for a week or so right out of the CAT. I was in the process of installing a new exhaust and didn't have a lot of time to do it

fixed my car! pipe from exhaust manifold to cat with flex pipe in the middle only cost me 69 bucks

That's ok dude. It's not that bad. I was driving my girlfriend's 92 Geo Tracker the other day when the exhaust manifold gasket blew. It's got pink Billabong stickers and everything
