That's a smokin' deal. If your interested I've got a site with free maps and tuning assistance. I haven't used it on mine (tuning one car (and a bike) is more than enough) but a good buddy of mine highly recommended it.
PM me if interested and I'll pass it along.

WAT? $4500? That's a steal. I was looking for one of these for a LONG time and looked everywhere. Nowhere did I find a price like that.

Sick. I'd love to move to a WRX STi after the R32, reliable AWD performance would be amazing.... But I'd also love a 350Z... and an M3... and the list goes on.

I should pick an order and stick with it haha

Don't worry, I'm well on my way. 21 years old and 7 cars deep. I've had a little bit of everything by this point.

                  Great deal, nice shot.

Can't wait to get some rolling shots too.

Whoa, awesome deal! I'm currently looking for a Subaru myself.......haven't found much that's close to that price.

I really want a coupe, but will probably end up with a sedan.....to be honest I can't see myself driving a wagon/hatchback/whatever they're calling them these days.....just not a fan of the look.

But I changed my thoughts from "buying a winter beater" to "buying a decent daily driver" ... which may be part of the reason I'm having a hard time finding one

Everything seems to have over 200k kms out here....there's a guy asking $7,600 for a coupe with 249,000 kms on it. Mind you...one owner apparently, an older fellow who took really good care of it and they have all the servicing records. But.....I still can't see in my mind, any car with over 200k on it being worth more than $5,000.

Very nice find though, and it looks like you're already having fun with it if that's you in the picture

if you don't want a wagon (I do, need the utility) honestly get a DSM. They're cheap and abundant. I know of a turbo AWD one for $4000 that could pass for a new car. New motor, new trans, new clutch, new body, everything. And prices only go down from there.

                      they're faster, too.

The wrx wagons are the best looking wagon, well the magnum is not bad. I was looking at a jetta wagon, but I will probably just go with a regular tdi jetta.

DSM's? There's a very limited amount of them that are okay. The majority are FWD. Seem to have a tendacy to slip the timing belts. DSM is the street ricer car of choice where I live.

But I do agree that they're cheap, and there are some decent examples of them.

dsm crappyness jokes aside, if you get a good 1g, they're good long lasting cars.

Just don't pretend they're a sports car and they do fine. I've had several stock and near stock ones that were reliable. And one moderately modified one that was not.
