Went to go for a drive lastnight, i have leaky cam covers and i underestimated the leak, oil light came on so i shut her down and there was barely ant oil showing on the stick.Thank god the car didnt knock or anything, and its going away soon so i'll have to order up some gaskets. and non skyline related GM decided thhat the wheel cylinders on the sunfire need to be secured with reverse torx bolts for **** sakes.

Okay this just happened yesterday, in my high school auto shop but here goes. At my school I would say about %90 of the kids that take auto are brain-dead morons and this is a perfect example. One of the kids had dropped a tool in the engine bay while working on a car. realizing it had caught on something and not fallen through to the ground he searches the enginebay with a flashlight... when he finds the tool and can't reach it he starts unbolting everything that is blocking his hand, including an engine mount . the bell goes and he hasn't had time to bolt everything back up, nor does he tell anyone he removed anything. the next class comes in and have to move the car over to a different bay as someone else needed the lift it was parked in. so they slot the car in neutral and push out and into the next bay... thats when "THUD-TING" the motor dropped out from the car and put a huge crack in the oilpan (no oil in the car at the time).
