It's actually a parking pole. A few of the larger RHD cars imported have them just as a driving aid. But I have been planning to put a small Canadian flag on it, or even a Canucks flag (if they didn't lose so much..)

I think the E36 was faster than the R34GTR at Nurburgring, that's what impressed me.
