        Skis: Head Monster i.M 82
        Bindings: Tyrolia LD 12 Railflx
        Boots: Full-Tilt Bumblebee (Classic)
Poles: All I know is they are Rossignal and I've had them forever... sanded down and painted flat black.

Went to sunshine last sunday, it was nice up top especially earlier in the day. I made the stupid mistake of taking the ski out - my skis are now getting a full base grind and tune up.

Planning on skiing at Fernie, Castle, Revelstoke, Kicking Horse and possible red mountain if I get out to the Kootenays.

man i SO jacked up for this season.

          quiver this year,

'06 Burton Baron ES, '09 Co2 bindings, burton elevators, 07 Ion boots
'05 Burton Baron, '04 P1 Hd's (OG man), 09 Ozone Shop Series Boots

I'm really looking to try out a rocker board of some sort. I love the idea of having to complete set-ups that are totally different in the way they ride. Plus having a jib stick that i can beat the hell out of on some handrails is always fun.
If anything i'll check out my local ski/board swap and pick up a POS board cheap and not feel bad about destroying it.

          Any Ontario Riders out there?

Ontario? Last December I was in TO and I stopped by Hidden Valley. I had forgotten how awful ON is for boarding, it took 15 minutes just to get on the lift, and about 1.5 minutes to get down the hill. Lame.

Sunshine was awesome on Thursday! Just starting out this year. Got an old Solomon board and Ride bindings for $125 should serve me well for the season. Kind of want to try one of those banana boards for next year though

haha Manitoba is twice as bad. on your average weekend, its packed so you wait 30 minutes to get on the lift then 15 minutes up then if you go fast, 30 seconds down. thats when you gotta hike the park.

Ontario for the most part in comparison to any real mountain is brutal. I ride at a hill called Searchmont about 9 hours north of Toronto. Closer to TO theres better hills then hidden valley but i think long lines are still the downfall. Gotta make the best out of what you got though right? As for size and quality of terrain my hill is better, no one knows how to run the damn thing... lots of potential.

Nice to see theres some fellow riders on gtrcanada. I ride a 05 Burton Un...inc, 06 Burton Cartel Bindings, and 09 Shaun White Boots. I love the setup but I'll probably change the boots, there not that comfortable for my style of riding (there good for the park and there also pretty damn warm). The Un...inc board is getting older, its probably seen easily 100 days and still in good shape. I'm freeride and do backcountry (eastern backcountry, its all rocks and trees). That board just keeps on going the base is extremely tough, and can't seem to break it no matter how hard I try (it still has the same camber it did when I bought it 6 years ago). Burton makes quality stuff (well the stuff thats made in North America, not the Chinese Burton stuff), they're like the 'Nismo' or 'Mines' of the GTR world!

lol 100 days? I've had my board since 06 when I worked at a mnt so I've got I bet you over 300 days on that thing... and it's still going strong. Lost a bit of pop... but still decent for powder. I think boxing day this year it will be time to replace.

Well when you work there for 5 months and ride everyday either before work or after work, it adds up.

And include all the weekend riding at Whistler, Baker, Big White etc...

And I had it since boxing day 05, so 3.5 seasons.

Same here, I wish I could do 100days a season. Its also different here on east coast. A lot of days are just not worth it. It might snow alot one day and then rain hard the next day. I've gone riding when theres been 0.5 foot puddles on the hill. Most mountains are just bad and the good ones are packed with people all the time. I'll be heading out west this winter forsure I wanna see some real powder! Last year I had 4 powder days out of 25 days of riding.
