I have been in a hard driven S2k before they changed to the lower rev limiter. I know from that 30 minute run that i dont like them. I dont like the body style, i dont like the sound. Its the whole package. Im sure most people havent even sat in one but maybe thats for a reason, they just dont like them. There is more to most people than just the speed and handling capabilities. Its more the whole package that draws them in. S2k lacks in that for some people

What sup with the Skyline elitism all over again??? AP2 > whatever 20year old "sport" car...You guys need to get over the HONDA IS DA GAY mentality. They are different cars build for different purposes. Hack, most of you guys can't even afford a S2000 so I don't get why the hate. If you think Skylines are the Oh yea ultimate JDM tyte god-like OMGWTF BBQ car..you are a fan boy. They are just something cheap, fast n reliable..so please get over it.

I`ve driven an S2000 on a track. And let me tell you it`s way more FUN that my old gts-t (which wasn`t stock). Yes, it has less power... yes they are small and cramped but do they ever come alive on the track when you`re ringing their neck.

And for me... I rate my cars on how they preform on the track. Hence why I own an FD... far from practical and not worth the money in a long shot but there`s nothing like driving it on the track...

but then again I actually drive my cars the way they were meant to be.

s2000's are great....
with a FI kit..

I hate the engine in them and I dont care that they have the highest revving engine that honda makes, it sounds terrible, therefore the it ruins the experience of throwing it around a corner with early downshifting, and revving to high heaven in one isnt fun iether because why would I want a car that is fun to throw around corners if it sounds like its revving to a million without feeling like its going anywhere.

I dont see how that is fun. That being said it doesnt mean its a bad car. On that basis I would not want an s2000, and many members on here i think might agree with what im saying. There is not right or wrong,
I would drive that s2000 falcon, its pretty crazy. It might be just because I have a crush on s1's, but im not sure I would want to own one.

I don't particularly hate on S2000's. They're alright, I think their appearance grows on you/can look pretty sexy in street trim (see above in Falcons post). FI is a must however.

That being said I would sooner buy a used 350z at that price. They can be had for the same price as posted a page or two back (18k) easy. Someone on here recently bought one for 16k. He was looking in the WTB section and found one within a couple weeks. Better power, way more aesthetically pleasing and that exhaust note is awesome even stock... pure sex with a good aftermarket exhaust.

That and they're not AS cramped inside. Even the drop tops are coming down in price, I've seen them as low as 18k for a good example.

PS. I merely said NSX's would land more chicks. Falcon if you don't agree you're lying. Hell we all know Skylines attract sausage. Dodge Stealths will get more girls wet (and theyre ugly IMHO). Oh and I fully realize my GTS-t is low on the performance food chain, as a lot of us do I'm sure.

I think I've seen what you're talking about a couple times. I think they took a convertible 240 and put the R32 front end on it. I don't know what I would think of a convertible Skyline. Do a full conversion on the 240 and then drop an RB in there.... mmm... could be ok.

We were all laughing at how riced out this Accord is.

Some of us mentioned that we don't necessarily find S2000's to be that great. No one here said they would rather take a Skyline over a stock GTS-t or GTR. You guys came to that conclusion ALL BY YOURSELVES. I bet anyone given the choice between any stock R32 or R33 and an S2000 would happily choose the S2000 without hesitation... even if it was just for resale so you could go pick up the GTR and put some $$$ into it

It's really quite simple... would you pick the $8k car? $10k car? $15k car? Or the $20k car? Anyone here who would pick one of the lesser valued cars (all of which would be stock Skylines in my example) are mildly retarded, not fan boys.

Personally I think your elitist attitudes is chauvinistic. "Oh look at all these elitist fan boys who think their crappy Skylines are better than $20k cars. We're so much better than them because we have a head on our shoulders...."

I know this is being posted up late, just thought I would share another perspective. Aaron I've backed you up a few times in the last couple weeks about your knowledge on cars/RX7's and such but part of this atmosphere "getting worse" could be attributed to half of your negative comments towards people on here. Hell I probably add quite negatively time to time.

No hate in this, just opinion. Not trying to start any epic battles. Take it with a grain of salt.

I said I would rather take a z over the new Genesis since it was half the price and I got ragged on from what I remember. People have different opinions, ours are just better . Life goes on.
