I have only owned three vehicles, probably because I don't but $500 clunkers.

2005 GMC Canyon (leased - returned)
1990 GTR (currently own)

The most I've ever learned was working on my $500 Cadillac.

That car ******* sucked. But it taught me lots. If I could have leased a brand new GMC Canyon (or had daddy pay for it) then yea I never would have bought one.

But buying all my own vehicles, while going to university, working part time, and supporting my mother after her second divorce... yea guess I couldn't afford a brand new truck. Clearly there's something wrong with me

its not the number of cars youve owned .... im 18 ... if i really wanted t i could go through 20 cars a year... buy 1 sell it one week later....i dontthink that counts as onwership though(maybe to insurance) ...

It's not going to stop any time soon either. Before I die I have a list as long as my leg of all the cars I want to own, and build. FD, Supra, WRX STI, M3, 4x4 Ranger... etc. The list goes on.

Let's just hope I can get through most of them! To do that I need to switch it up every once and awhile.

Some cars yes I wish to build...

Others on the other hand I love in stock form. Maybe slight modification. I generally own a car until it has fulfilled what I like. For example with the GTS-t, I'll only own it for another season at most. I won't do a big single build on it, it's not what I want. I'll do what I can with stock and then upgrade cars when I want more power (GTR for example).

my 86 toyota that i did solid front axle swap to, does better than most trucks when im out offroading. its a beast. need to do another engine swap though. and it needs new throwout bearing bad.

I picked the Ranger because I like them. I've had two. I've had good luck with the engines (which I gather you have not with your yota). And you can do the same things with these trucks with axle swaps etc. I've seen tonnes that are unstoppable. I've also seen pics of your truck from what I can remember and yes, it's a beast. But the beast isn't necessarily attractive. I want something clean, almost stock form like someone posted up in another thread. Something I could DD to work in the office and not look like a red-neck. Ideally an FX4. My brother had one and it was awesome.

And yes falcon I believe your replacement has arrived.

Ya, you're definatley my replacement. I help out in tech all the time. See, I acutally have experience building engines... And yes, you've become fairly negative recently.
