Alright, hopefully most of you had a good Xmas and are off to get some deals on Boxing Day.


It's about the time of the year to do some wrap-ups of the year and look back at what happened for this community this year. Some good, some bad, some funny, etc.


What are your goals car wise next year? Get your drinks on and ramble on.

500 hp in my GTR.

Avoid stupid drivers 100% of the time instead of 99%. (Got rear ended in my GTS July 2).

Maybe get another silvia and beat on it.

A few memorable meets from this year are:

Ikea meet back in March 2009 followed by Cypress Cruise in snow/slush

FnF meet/cruise from langley to abby then coquitlam.

Skywest 2009

First Wings meet @ Wings (you know who you are)

I didn't go to Golden Gardens and I am still kicking myself for that. This year I shall.

Make more than 302whp with my 20 year old ancient car. Maybe keep up to a new GTR. Get my engine to Ztune if the price for the build is right. BUY MORE PARTS!!!!!!!!!!

funniest moment was a few days ago when i was sitting in tim hortans and one of the few cops that pulls me over on a regular basis talked to me asked me were my car was ect. he thought my nissan was in a ditch, how ignorant.

I hit my intermediate goals of 286RWHP on Mustang Dyno (340RWHP dynojet if I wanna brag my e-peenssss) with MAF maxed out. Pretty proud of the fact I did most of the work and only had help with tuning and some minor hick-coughs, thanks Ztune and Racing Greed!

I'm happy with the power for now, but next summer will bring handling mods such as coilovers, FUCAS/RUCAS/tension rods/swaybars, followed by some body work to fit some wider tires then paint.

If I have extra funds I'll do a small step over with blow-through MAF set up and up the boost to break 400HP @ crank. Thinking that'd be a small cost gain as I only have to fab up a MAF housing before plenum then wire it in then tune. That should be the limits of my RB20 transmission anyways.

Bodywork.

Get rid of all signs of hidden rust, which I've partly done. Then respray underbody protection where needed. Would advise others to look for and correct these area's.

anyway, i didn't get into any GTRC meets in 09', simply because there isn't any around montreal ( or wasn't ! zing!)

though i've learned to love GTRC and its online community, made a couple good friends,

also, i started my super GTR Project Car thread, got alot of feedback on that good (THX guys!)

and i've also abused the classifieds here, selling most of my parts from my old GTR to GTRC members all accross the country, and also bought alot from them!
