Brakes like that are super overkill. I could have a GTR or any car for that matter set up with all the stopping power you could ever need for 3k.

    But neat, none the less...

$15k is a deal for ceramic brakes. Option like that on Ferrari is easily $40k.

people seem to easily forget, good stopping brakes are only as good as your tires!... rubber needs to hold the ground too.

My oem calipers on my gtst allowed me to lock up all 4 wheels at 180km/h. All i did was tap them. GTR brakes are pretty good too. i couldnt imagine where you would need those..

On the street, stock brakes are very good with the proper pad/rotor setup. But on the track with a good driver who uses his brakes a lot late into the corner, the front brakes will fade very quickly. This is a combination of rotor width and face size, but more face size than anything.

If you do get an RX7, be prepared to be unimpressed. FD's have one of the worst stock braking systems I've ever used. 2 laps at the track and they are DONE!... Time for a new setup

A company makes carbon rotors for the bnr32. forget the name though unfortunately.

Carbon brakes are insane, however they tend to not to be the best road choice. There have been cases in Top Fuel where the chutes did not deploy but the brakes(carbon) still managed to stop them.

I have high ceramic pads only and they seem pretty good. I couldn't imagine having carbon/ceramic rotors too. Would that still hurt my stopping power like my current setup compared to stock I wonder.

Like Mcfly says, I too have seen carbon bits for GTRs but it was on SAU where I saw I think.

the r35 as we all know looks like a whale-shark more then anythign else,

IMO unless break fade is nearly eliminated, as in changing rotors and pads becomes a in a blue moon, i dont see why not go with a 3-5k willowwood , endless etc. kit . is such a drastic upgrade wroth the money? honestly who is realistically putting the kind of numbers to the wheels that merit such stopping power
