Yeppers, Suncor a few weeks ago has announced (internal announcement at the time) that it is selling 100 Sunoco sites (the location and buildings) and converting the remaining sites to.... PETROCANADA stations!!!! Of course, the Sunoco owners/investors are pissed they had no say but Suncor owns them. The stocks will be sold and around 1000 jobs axed.
Anyways, this only really applies to Ontario folks (pretty odd an Alberta owned oilsands company only sells fuel in Ontario?) where Sunoco are located.
Sunoco is suing Suncor for 200 million lol. I bet, if they win, they'll be sticking around? Too bad suncor is a massive oil giant that have better lawers. haha.

TORONTO - Sunoco retailers are suing Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX: SU.TO) over the Calgary-based company's plans to sell or rebrand their gasoline service stations.
The retailers assert that Suncor's plan to sell or rebrand about 300 Sunoco locations has violated an Ontario law governing franchise agreements.
The Sunoco franchise operators claim they're entitled to compensation.
Suncor hasn't commented publicly on the suit.
Last week, Suncor announced it will cut about 1,000 employees from its workforce as it sells some of its natural gas and international assets.
That's on top of 1,000 head office jobs cut last August following Suncor's takeover of Petro-Canada.
