x2 for the 2g talons/eclipses. they rock my frickin socks off, that's all we touch at work and they're great. you have the option for awd in those too.
not trying to stir things up, but i've gotta agree with the bandwagon comment.
and if you end up wanting to make it go crazy, our shop's talon runs 1200hp and an 8 second 1/4 mile.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

im with you haha, once your driving RHD its hard to go back to LHD, your just a normal car.
just admit it lol. RHD is mad tyte and thats why you want one.
TBO i think the pulsar is to light to function well in the snow sometimes, i know AWD DSM's arent bad. other than the transmission falling offf.

again i would stay away from the 2g eclipses for the simple reason that you are always working on it... who wants a lawn ornament that is legal to drive
How many kids with A.D.D. does it take to screw in a light bulb?

          Wanna go ride bikes...

I think the op should be open to more option than the RHD bandwagon. The mid 90's eagle talon is a real diamond in the rough. One friend has a pretty sweet one that been dyno just over 500hp.

My toys are 1990 GTR, 1980 Trans am, 1995 Civic 3.2Lv6, plus I have my daily drivers.
Of all the cars I have I hate my GTR. Nothing but trouble from the cops, and just everyday driving. Hell my civic that steals a gtr lunch money with it's intake and cylinder heads sticking out of the hood line does't get hassle by the cops.

It's ok. I'm all for the 25 year rule to be reinstated in Canada / Ontario.
Well just the people that I know well, there's my own car, my bro-in-law's EVOII, my buddie's EVOII, MissModel's GTR is in really good shape, plus I've seen Turboed08's GTS-T, KingCobra's GT-R is spectacular and I saw his GTS-T at Right Drive before he bought it... that's 7 of people I know, not to mention all the cars I've seen at Right Drive were mint, and even some of the car's I've seen at Tiger have been in OK shape. The only RHD's that I've ever seen that have been clunkers have been at Tiger and that's because they import off the scrap yards.

The OP wants a good solid car that can handle whatever winter can shove at him. He could look high and low and pay way to much for way to many miles or he could just get a JDM model.

Also I don't know how you drive, but I have yet to be pulled over in more than a year of driving RHD cars.

I didnt notice this thread was "one of those threads"...

Don't lie, you dont own ANY skyline. Last I looked you were looking for something "cheap" to do a lhd conversion on.

As far as eagle talons go they are all 5k+ for something with 150k km+ with a blown turbo, I know Will at jdmconnection had/has a wrx in the 4k range... Not the best shape but its a winter beater right?

I will say it again, GTFO of these forums because you are just here to stir **** up. If you hate your gtr, rhd, and skylines soooo much, sell your non-existent gtr because I am sure someone would be happy to take care of it, but wait, again I forgot. It doesnt exist

A guy I met owns one. Helped him work on it a few times already. My favorite Evo by far. Lightest too. the con is that it cannot make power like the new ones without engine work.
