Lol. I love this whole "Everyone from GTRPWR is a [insert derogatory term here]" attitude.

The maturity in this thread is astonishing. You're just as bad as half the guys bashing GTRC on that forum. See the trick is to NOT stoop to "their" level.

However there have been some mature minded people in this thread, JZ particularly, who you would think would be the most averse.

It's another forum. Each has their pro's and con's. I personally laugh because the same group of mod's who continually referred to Nazi GTRC have more ridiculous stipulations in your actions than this site does. It started with good intentions, and although it's blurred in some area's, those intentions still remain.

I didn't see this naked ladies thread though... gonna have to look when I'm not on a school computer.

i think the city of montreal is great, there's a ton to do and it's beautiful.
i just came across way too many people that i couldn't stand. hence why it was people that made me leave. every day i spent in montreal i lost my temper with some snobby yuppie. maybe im just not a people person, but i prefer humble people, of which there are few in mtl.

Regarding the OP I agree, Allen is on a power trip I suppose
I was as close as you can get to the line without being banned.
He gave me the whole "you messed with the wrong guy" type thing to.
Its all good.

The main reason for my original post is that I found it a little hypocritical that GTRPWR complained that this forum was too controlling not permitting people to voice their opinion in the manner they saw fit, even if it offended people. Then I get banned even though I complied with their rules when it was pointed out to me. Guess Allen didn't appreciate when I politely pointed out that he does not "search the forum hard enough" himself when he accused me of not complying with any of the rules.

I actually didn't have a problem with Allen as I feel that he is very knowledgeable about GTRs and inexpensive alternate sources for modifications. I still don't have a problem with him as it's just not worth my time. I personally just don't think that he was the best choice for a moderator as he seems to make everything personal.

They have ripped into JZ and other mods here for attempting to keep the discussions here civil. In fact I commend JZ for not responding to their juvenile personal attacks.

After his "you messed with the wrong guy" I actually did comply with the rules but I don't think he appreciated me pointing out the flaws in his accusations. I didn't appreciate his overbearing tone but I was never rude or insulting i.e. I was banned because I'm a "******* idiot".

This is the last message I will post about this. I think this issue is done and no further comments are useful. Allen has his own website (and it has a lot of useful information) and can run it how he sees fit. I am only really sorry that I can no longer access Mcfly's knowledge anymore as I feel he made major contributions to GTRPWR and this forum. I would ask one of the mods to close this topic. Thanks.

Jon, that's not a "win" for GTRC, hahah that' just contact information. Forums are communication channels, no more, no less. It's the PEOPLE that make up an enthusiast scene/group/events.

In my opinion if you don't like a forum, get off it...find a new one. There are THOUSANDS of them around, im sure you'll find one your style.
