49 numbers with 6 of them randomly picked from a ball spinner thing.

you get to pick 6 numbers also.

here's the odds of matching all 6:

P(jackpot) = 6/49 x 5/48 x 4/47 x 3/46 x 2/45 x 1/44
= 720/10,068,347,520
= 1 in 13,983,816.

yeah that sucks. but we all know the odds suck for winning the jackpot...

so what's more realistic? how about the $10 prize? that's getting 3 of the numbers right.
