Ouch. Looks like the area at top of front shocks x2 failed. That would explain why both sides failed at same time. If failed anywhere else, only one side would have been affected.

When you think about how many g forces f1 cars generate under braking, it's hard to believe such flimsy looking suspension pieces don't explode all the time.
