      Antisocial Personality Disorder
      quoting from your own article:
'People having antisocial personality disorder are sometimes mistakenly referred to as "sociopaths" and "psychopaths".'
Yet other articles have contradicted that so I'm at a loss.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but:
Sociopaths know that what they're doing is wrong... they just don't care.
Psychopaths don't know that what they're doing is wrong, to an extent.

In any case, I don't think describing Newfoundlanders as either sociopaths or psychopaths would really be accurate since it's a whole different culture there and is thus morally acceptable to do such things; people doing that here in Ontario would be called immoral.

Either way, DF, let's just call a truce since psychology really isn't something anyone's good at arguing we both won or we both lost.. how's that.

Such differences in cultures and ranges in morals etc. just keeps me coming back to the quote I live by: "there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."

I will respect someone who firmly believes in something if they have good reason. Ignorant people are a whole other breed that I hate and they are the ones that must be forced to change...
