    Yes... that's right. I just finished pulling a motor out of one of these this eve (broken spline shaft on the starter) and low and behold on the compressor of the supercharger there is a big HKS in bold.

    Didn't expect to see that and me and the mech at work got a good laugh out of that. It's also HUGE for a 1.8L engine. Like massively big.

    These things make 235hp on 14PSI.

    I believe HKS may be involved in the aviation industry as well. What they are involved in, and to what extent, I'm not sure of. This might not be accurate, as it was in a magazine I read several years ago.

      Yeah! And ultimately the money they make from development funded by these other big companies trickles down to us: the consumer :P

        HKS have been making some of the best turbos for aircraft I think. I had a big one on a 6 cylinder lycoming engine (test stand) makin' around 360HP at 40 inches of mercury..... lol not sure what that is in psi
