Been going thru the Metallica discography non-stop since last night, from front to back, each song....and then it stops at the last song of Black album. I stopped following them after that. No solos, no metal!!

I just listened to st. anger (the song), and man, wtf? They must have been high when the wrote that one. It sounds like lars is banging on a garbage can for the entire song. Drums waaaay to loud. I like the guitars tuned to C (drop C?), but I can't for the life of me figure out their motive behind the song. Or most of them on that album, to be honest. Frantic isn't terrible, I suppose.
