Clutch pivot ball - do you really need it when upgrading clutch ????

Hi gents, Im going to be running a OS Giken twin plate and was wondering if I really need to upgrade the clutch pivot ball ?

How about some input from you guys who are running twin and triple plates - did you upgrade your pivot ball ?

-my tranny is already out so it would be easy to install right now - the thing is I have the clutch and want to drive the car and not wait a month for it to get here so if I dont need it Im going to put the tranny back in

I think the point of them is, it takes more force to disengage the clutch, so the pivot will get worn? Or even break. I doubt people would make them for no reason. Also, gtrs have a clutch booster, so the force being applied to the clutch is a lot more than you think.
