I saw that yesterday..awesome short. I think it's directed by the same guy that did the film about the 1 series BMW tii. The NSX just doesn't conjure up a lot of emotion for me though, regardless of Senna's involvement in the development. Format67 always rolls out high-budget shorts, I love it.
I cant handle this guys filming style. It reminds me of a Michael Bay movie with 500 cuts per second. The slow motion bits were cool, though. Made me want an NSX. The other Format67 movies suffer the same quick cutting style that makes my brain hurt. I tried watching the one with the S14 but had to stop when the driving started. When the quick cutting trend is gone and we go back to real filming techniques that don't make you feel like you're dropping acid, I'll be happy.
Not gonna lie, found that thoroughly boring. I loved the NSX, but the only action of it was a brief 30 second, chopped up piece.
My Garage:
1990 Nissan Skyline GTR Nismo Edition - Action Hotdog Go!
2008 Audi RS4 - Hand Banana
1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT- Dirty Winter Car
1988 Toyota Supra Base - Trojan Judas Hairnet Battle Tree.
Agreed that the focus on slow-mo in the video was a bit prominent but it served its purpose. I thought it was very powerful and if honda/acura had used this as a commercial we probably would have seen many more nsxs on the road. I would love to see someone make a short like this with a skyline!
