Major praise for Subaru's! My 98 Legacy takes no prisoners in the Winter, good on gas, and is awesome homey hauler.

A good friend of mine bought a Legacy GT RS (twin turbo) off of Right Drive. Lets just say it's one beast of a car!

However if you want a really good balance of economy, practicality, and enjoyable driving, the Honda Fit is a great car.

if you want something really practical i recommend a supercrew extended F150, i love mine!

the honda fit is nice too, though. good choice.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

@dreadedfist: It's not overpaying if the car has low miles and is well maintained. Better than buying some lemon off Craigslist and finding out that it needs lots of work after.

This thread is not a debate about the pros and cons of importing cars and how much you pay for them.
This thread is about the OP looking for a non-Skyline vehicle in Ontario.
                  Please stay on topic.

If he isn't a car guy, go for the honda fit, honestly. It's a cool little car.

MIGHT have an '02 WRX auto. 2 sets of wheels/tires, under 150.000kms, new engine/turbo installed by Subaru (warranty) at 121.000kms. Silver in colour. Very good condition. Undercoated. Keyless entry/alarm/turbo timer. THE best service history you will EVER see.
I think the asking price was $13000 is it's still for sale.
                          Let me know if interested.
