    lol example:
my I bought concert tickets for my gf and her friend and they both paid me back. my gf ended up not being able to go and told her friend, to which she replied "no problem, my bf and I will go together then, but I'll give you the money when I can." The day before the concert, the friend told my gf that her bf was sick and they weren't going anymore but will still give her money for the ticket.
3 months later after plenty requests for the repayment, the friend tells my gf that she doesn't think she should have to pay for the ticket because they didn't actually go to the concert. now they hate each other. thug life.

I completely agree with your complaint. And the importance of one's word.

However I completely disagree with this stereotype placed on younger people. Either you hang around with a bunch of kids who were not raised properly, or you hang around with a bunch of people who are incapable of raising their kids, likely because they were improperly raised themselves.

Personally I can think of more "older generation" people who would bail on me faster than half of my friends (I'm 22 BTW). I just moved and everyone who said they could/would help me out were there. All you old foggies just think you were so well behaved as kids but I'm sure everyone here can admit to numerous wrong doings on their part. Everyone fucks up every once and awhile. Just like you all had to walk to school everyday, in 3 feet of snow, with no shoes, carrying a back-pack that "seriously weighed like 100lbs" uphill both ways because of the rabid dogs that would hunt your beloved trail after class.

That being said, maybe I don't run into this issue because I don't associate with ****-heads. My advice therefore being; Don't associate with ****-heads.
DISCLAIMER: If any of the above comments in this post hurt your feelings you are likely taking me too seriously; I'm probably just busting your balls. If you're unsure, feel free to PM me and we can discuss the matter privately, as to not pull the thread OT.

I agree about who you hang out with that were raised properly or inproperly. Saying : "Your a product of your surroundings".

I actually found after talking to younger, older generations, that we have done the same things (similar sports, games, etc), but the names were different. Also there are good and bad in every generation. No generation or person is perfect.
