  • Today is a sad day.

Got a call from a shaken very good friend of mine that he has just been involved in an accident and needs me to come down asap, so I hopped in my truck and flew down there, to my eyes, this day, is a day of sadness, my friend lost a vehicle very dear to him. If anyone here knows him besides LordGTR will know that he loved his supra more then anything and it reflected in the due care he gave to his car, there was no expense spared when it came to anything it neeeded.

He went through a green light someone ran a red and hit him on the passenger side front quarter doing 70kmh spun around and car shut off. Hes shooken up and sore but he may be all right. All I can say is I pour out some of my 40 on the floor for my boy. It brings a tear to my eye to see the car in its shape as I know how much it meant to my best buddy and to see it smashed breaks me up.

So if anything can be taken from this is always be aware, Not only do you have to watch your own signals and driving you now have to watch out for other people not paying attention.

As long as he's all right. Cars are cars..they can be replaced. I can understand his attachment to it, though.

      Agreed with QuietChaos.

As long as he's okay is all that matters. Does suck about the car. Time to part and restart, I think. Insurance should help a little too

Oh man. Bad news. I remember when he first got this car imported. It was a really nice car but as long as he is healthy and safe then the "metal box" can always be replaced.

Of course cars can be replaced, If someone was seriously injured or dead I would not post it on some public forum. I just assumed car guys would sympathize with the loss of something that meant allot to someone, But regardless, I am just showing this to both say it and let people know, because maybe one day you remember what you saw, and avoid an accident because you took caution. But who knows. And falcon, if time is such a high issue with you, then maybe its best spent on something more productive then trolling on the internet. just my .2 cents

You made it sound like someone died. It's just a car. When you actually have a family member or friend die in a car accident, come let me know how you feel.

Well good thing you know everything I have ever been through in my life. Its sad because even though its a piece of metal and it can be replaced it has sentimental value to him. People place different values on things then others, its not the be all and end all, and people have moved on this is more of a warning to people out there then it is some obituary, its just a back story and some pictures of a messed up supra, (dont know if they come through). Im sorry this is not to your liking falcon, but you can always just say nothing instead of moaning about it.
