IMPOSSIBLE. I tried EVERYTHING to get a Netflix account signd up and they do EVERYTHING to block Canadians from Credit Card origins, to mailing addresses to IP blocks and I am not aware of a Proxy program for Xbox360 to get you a USA IP address, so I call BULLSH#T !

On the other hand, I do use a HTPC switching between WMC and BOXEE for front ends and use a Proxy so that I can access US streaming services, but still NO NETFLIX.

Oh...and Netflix do not charge per movie. It's a monthly subscription.

My bad, I just checked, it was actually the Zune thing I was going through...... They charge per movie with MS points.

We've got a kiosk in the grocery store that rents movies for $2 a pop. It's called Quick Flicks or some phonic variation.

You can review what's in the machine online, reserve, and then retrieve your movie when you're buying popcorn.

There was a DVD vending machine in a 7-11 by my old Condo that I used quite a few times. It was convenient. Credit card swipe, pick a movie, spits it out like a pop machine. Then upon return, it scans the movie and accepts it, releasing the credit card hold on funds. Very cool.

I think its about $8 a month, and you can get 2 movies at a time a maximum of twice a month (I think around there), with unlimited movie/tv show rentals on an xbox 360, ps3, wii, or computer.

biggest drawback is our crappy ISP (in Quebec anyway) with low quota's or charge way too much for higher ones

unlike in the US where you can have unlimited download.. we don't have that here

guess ill keep at my 3$/rental at the corner store hehe
