Last week I was walking on Wellington Street, corner Somerset when this black black two-door Nissan 300ZX hatchback passed really fast by me, and turning on Irving Avenue. Now, I would not swear that this was the same guy, but how many black right hand Nissan is there in the city of Ottawa... My guess is that there might be only one. I could not belive how fast this guy was driving. He went up Irving Avenue and man, there's a lot of kids on that street, and he was exceeding the speed limit way too much! Now I am not saying it is him, but my guess is as good as yours!

What a **** head.
Should have been executed on spot. Then they could have harsher excessive/wreckless driving consequences than us westcoast'ers.DISCLAIMER: If any of the above comments in this post hurt your feelings you are likely taking me too seriously; I'm probably just busting your balls. If you're unsure, feel free to PM me and we can discuss the matter privately, as to not pull the thread OT.

The woman died today.
Yeah, this seriously peeves me off, cause I love my new winter beater, and now I have more heat on it then a afghan at an airport. I always drive the speed limit too - I rarely go over it unless I'm on a highway, and there's quite a bit of space between walls - no cars.
I could never see myself ever doing anything stupid downtown.
That being said, I've been pulled over twice since then because officers wanted to "question my intentions with this car."
I even caught one guy about to key it downtown, and when I asked him about it, he said he thought it was the same car as "the one that killed those people".
Things a heat score, and this kid did it TWO days after I bought mine.
I wish I could write a notice to the public saying that not all RHD drivers are wreckless, and as stupid as this kid was.

Wow, are you serious? That's ridiculous, that people are just going after it since it's the "same car". There's a few 300ZX's here in London that look identical as well. They're rather common cars. One kid ruins it for everyone...Originally posted by kengeroothat's what I thought when I opened the package..

Agreed , but you can google the online tabloids and see who is reporting this and publishing the negative aspect of a RHD because of this and you can send them an email condemning the actions of this kid on behalf of not only the vast majority of RHD owners that ARE responsible vehicle operators , but also the sportscar / importcar scene in general.
The more of you that enforce this by replying to all the negative publicity only strengthens the community as whole but also discredits the claims of unsafe imports when you can show a large number of you successfully own and drive these vehicles without incident.
Nothing like facts from the horses mouth when faced with claims that are inaccurate! The public and authorities alike need to be shown this is a tiny minority that are the problem , not the large majority!

The sad part is that they are leaving 3 orphaned kids behind them... (ages 10, 14 and 15)
She passed away on Monday morning.
Also note the last 2 paragraphs of this article:
The rear-wheel-drive 1992 Nissan 300ZX coupe is a right-hand-drive vehicle. Transport Canada began a review of such vehicles in 2006, prompted by growing safety concerns about right-hand-drive cars.
Last year, Quebec became the first province to temporarily ban further imports of the vehicles due to safety fears.

Cause EVERYONE with an RHD car is a mad dorifto king. Clearly. Ugh... People fear what they don't understand, I suppose. They see that RHD is different and it's instantly "bad" and "shouldn't be allowed." I think we should charge the gov't. with racial profiling on RHD vehiclesOriginally posted by kengeroothat's what I thought when I opened the package..
