I've sent the author of the Ottawa Sun article an email, and this is it. If anyone feels they don't agree with anything in it, feel free to let me know.

I sent the letter more then a week ago and the immature, stupid, and thoughtless columnist never even responded back.

It has everything to do with his article. His article was explicitly about banning RHD cars in Ontario. I made a very very very valid and thorough email to him explaining that everyone on the boards here, and on most RHD forums would defend their rights, and that not everyone who drives RHD is a wannabe street racer.

I think it's very very rude of him, after I spent time writing an email almost as long as his article, to not even reply back with an "I understand your concern" or something to that effect.

I'm name calling because he has the odacity to get his facts WRONG, and then when someone sends him a very polite and respectful email, he doesn't even take the time to email that person back.

And even if he did give a ****. Which is possible, he's an editor, he probably gets hundreds on emails every day. You'd be lucky if your email even showed up on the first hundred when he checked his email. I highly doubt he reads all his email. You don't have to take it so personally

Steve you take **** so personally. Get over yourself; you're not so important that everyone should drop everything to appease you. You'll find it easier to get over the little things as you go.

Chances are he looked at how long it was and categorized it with the other 35 emails from RHD enthusiasts who said the exact same thing.

That or if you want to stroke your ego, he was just humiliated that he got his facts wrong and was then corrected by you.

theres only one problem with your pedal stuck ideas guys???? there a clutch and theres a gear shifter in autos, CARS WILL GO INTO NEUTRAL in an emergency situation know when to pull your power just a thought to ad, if you are driving ANY car lhd or rhd they are all dangerous they weigh how much ?? Its on the driver to control his 2500 lb plus metal chunk on wheels

And No Im Not Being A Hater, I just read all the reports, media and all the posts on this form and had to give it my 2 cents
It could of still been an accident, not my job to judge
And to all those who might see themselves in a WOT position in the future dont panic, just pull the power via gear shifter, clutch or key and add some brakes ... or... panic and do all the above the car should stop (hopefully)
but I can say this now and hope I can do the same as I am preaching in the future if this tragic event might happen to me
