Modern Warfare had a good storyline, and the multiplayer was great, but I just never got into the whole modern setting after being used to WWII for so long. World at War was pretty good, but it was lacking any kind of distinctive character. Nazi Zombies was fun, but it didn't help the poor story and cut + paste multiplayer. I played through the story of Modern Warfare 2 and found that to be excellent, but I played a few minutes of the multiplayer and decided that that was enough.

I'm quite on the fence about trying it. I'll probably try it a bit at my buddy's house, but I don't think I'll buy it. I'm just getting impatient for Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam :P
I never bought bad company 2... I paid $90 for the first one and it sucked HUGE ****. Very horrible and unplayable multiplayer.

I just started playing xbox again now that its getting cold (stopped in march ish). I am playing MW2 tonight, going like 27:4, people on there suck soooo bad lmao. Can't decide whether to get assassins creed brotherhood now and get BO at christmas, or go the other way around. FUUUUU minimum wage job.

In BFBC1, you needed a whole mag to kill someone. In BFBC2 you need a couple shots or a one-hit headshot. In hardcore 2-3 body shots will do.

I'll never go back to COD (my last one was MW1)... the intensity and grittyness of BFBC2 on hardcore simply can't be matched. Exploding a sniper tower with a M1 tank cannon while accounting for shell trajectory is yum. Same with tank long-distance showdowns: the first who adjusts trajectory will win. Making 2km headshots on someone running while accounting for bullet drop and speed is...wow. Well, at first. Sadly now, like COD, most skill I had has been drowned by people who exploit every crevace that gives an edge. It's still epic though.

I can't praise this game enough but I play like my life depends on it, walking, scanning, crouching and flanking everywhere. Seriously the experience, especially when the game was new and everyone was trying their best, had me lost for words.

There are a bunch of us from SkylineOwnersUSA who have been playing every night. Currently at level 20. Hit me up on PSN: Gummytonguedfunk, just say you're from GTRC.

Hmm.... Sounds like I will have to rent it.

Thats the other thing about BFBC I didn't like though, the maps are sooooo damn huge, you could get spawn killed by a sniper repeatedly from across the map. And good luck finding the sniper. I like close tight(er) action like the COD maps are.

The BFBC2 maps are maybe 1/2 the size at most, and you have a lot more cover. If you have a ghillie suit on and a silenced rifle, you can find some good cover in trees, looking trhough the branches for shots.

Couple days ago I went back from MOH (what a mess...it's good, but too COD) to BFBC2 and I survived a whole 45 min match doing objectives.

They took away the darn "add text" selection from the friend request proceedure

Anyway, I added you Ryan, as well as Marus92 and quadracer111. My GT is WolvesGoalie, I'm mostly playing FM3, F1 2010, PES 2010 and BF:BC2, but I did get Fallout New Vegas today so I'll probably be playing that a lot :P

I'm still undecided on COD:BO, I'll play it with my buddy on Sunday and make a decision then.
